us!), I believe I can shed a bit of light on what appears (at a glance) to
be a rather cryptic statement. After carefully parsing Bill's sentence and
then reassembling it sans superfluous misdirection, paternalistic horse****,
condescension, bigotry, hate, alcoholic incomprehensibility (and at such a
tender hour of the day!), chauvinistic jingoism, and outright deceit, it is
clear that his intention was to foster international goodwill, collegiality,
informed tolerance and, most of all, a universal understanding of the
benefits of bowing to the wisdom and magnanimity of the shrewd but humble
American small businessman who, if he were only acknowledged and emulated,
would lead the world down the bright and only true path to enlightenment and

You left out herring! That is discriminatory! Especially as you

for 2004.

Hi George and other nice fly fishers,


We cast them about a month ago and they were pretty nice. Orvis got their
overseas fly rod connection when they owned Redington for a short while. For
$98US they are a great value.

We also cast the new St.Croix "Premiere" and they were pretty nice too for
$100US.

Ahhh, yet another set of "keen" observations, in the fullest possible sense
of the word!

Well, the Redington stuff you mentioned is made in Korea. The $100.00 jobs
are $8.00 ex-factory there. Here, people can afford that even if they are
unemployed, on a pension, or even receiving sick or disability insurance.
Not that many would actually choose them, but they could if they wanted.

Most of the other "wonderful products" you mention are available in many
places, quite often where they originated, and mostly cheaper to boot!
Aspirin, Mercedes, Porsche, and Zebras. To name but a few.

Perhaps we should have thanksgiving after all?

Oh, and our herrings are better as well! Although very few of them are red.
