I've gotten a lot of mileage out of that story... Seemed a bit
Twilight-zonish at the time.

Yeh, drive in a straight line (as straight as you can get on the roads
in Centre County) and pass the same ground hog three times.. Insert
Twilight Zone theme here.

Poetry? We don' need no steenkin' poetry!

FWIW, I can now verify that Stan is very much alive and not a sock puppet.

....Planning ahead - some friends were chatting about a recent striper and

Gary or Greg ever show up here any more? Anyways, for the New English
types, I'm talking to friends about planning an early fall trip to the
Buzzards Bay area - many people have recomended canoe/kayak fishing in
Buttermilk Bay - ......................

I dropped in last week for the first time in quite a while....

Glad to hear you're getting back to life and congrats on the degree.
I've been "planning" to do the same for just about as long as you did
but never made it.

I was on the Cape with my brother last month, went down to Morris
Island, remembered the trip with you and Gary, I'm pretty sure it was
a good four years ago, and started wondering about what had happened
to you.

I ran into Gary on the Cape last year.

If you're planning a trip into the Buzzard's Bay area, look up the
Elizabethans. They may be the closest thing to undeveloped landscape
in that part of the NE coast. I fished off of them in a boat one long
day, a beautiful setting and lots of stripers.

..... and if you're looking for volunteers, I'd be interested: I hoped
to get back to CC for a long weekend during the fall run.

Glad to hear you're coming around! Replacing half your endocrine system
ain't easy, huh?

We do a Catskills trip the first weekend of June in Roscoe if you want
something non-stressful.
