Fly Rod Rack
Guy - a cheap and even green solution is to go to a garage sale and
repurpose a wine rack. One that's designed for a case of 12 bottles will fit 48 standard Al rod tubes, presumably with rods inside. Some of my wooden racks have extra leftover cubbies and one will fit 60 tubes. I turn the racks on the side so that the tubes are vertical, and the footprint is only 4 sqft. The square racks can fit right into the corner of a room, although the rack will just out. tl les Does anyone have this particular rack or something similar that won't break the bank? I have minimal floor and wall space to spare. Any ideas would be appreciated. Guy My question |

Very cool solution as wine is only one step removed from vinegar and not to be taken internally. Gotta do something with those wine racks people have given me as gifts over the years. Thanks. I will need another one soon. Can't seem to stop this incessant fly rod building habit. Next will be a cane rod. Guy |
