I still take pictures when I can - I currently using my Canon 5D and L series lenses the 17 - 40 mm wide angle is my favourite landscape lens. My walkabouts are few and far between now though. Over the last couple of years, some friends of mine and I have been communicating with the families of a Canadian aircrew which perished in a Wellington Bomber crash in 1944 in our local hills. the families of the crew didn't get the information about the whereabouts of the crash. We have helped them achieve some sense of closure with the information we've provided. I seem to be suffering from my medication th4ese days - statins in particular have slowed me down considerably. I trust you are as fit as ever and getting in some fishing in the hills of NC. -- Bill Grey |
