It is now a big tourist stop-over for wealthy Japanese. When I was there in '57, there were still Japanese soldiers left over from WWII. One turned himself in just before I arrived. Ah...so that explains the need for all those Marines... Nice place....... to visit. Then why not give those Japanese tourists...wait, screw "give" - they're "wealthy," so make 'em each rent a rifle while, um, Guaming and tell them if anyone tries to invade, hang on for at least 12 years...or until you and Brian Keith arrive, whichever comes first...
