The object of the exercise is to minimize the risk, to whatever extent is possible. I would, of course, not stand between you and Frank; mother goat never raised such a foolish child. The trick is to find the precise point close enough to Frank to remain in his risk shadow and yet far enough to avoid most of the spatter. No easy task, to be sure. giles |

In a few days, I'll be in Portugal for a week-long vacation. Any good fishing spots that I should check out (keeping in mind that SWMBO is probably only patient enough to allow me a few hours for a few days each before she starts pacing)? --riverman |

I was in Portugal one time; it was *closed*. d;o) (Actually, don' tell anyone, but it is a wonderful place to live/visit.) I have Portugese friends in Massachusett that tell me there *is* trout fishing in the country. Having lived in the Azores, for two years, I can tell you the people are wonderful, the bull fighting something you should experience (they do not kill the bull), the food outstanding, and the wine superb. Get out of the cities. If I move from Georgia/Massachusetts, it will be to Portugal. Enjoy. Dave |

Enjoy. Dave I grew up in a Portugese community. I agree with Dave, the food is awesome. They make a sausage the size of a Vienna sausage that tastes like a whole pepperoni and sausage pizza. The sweet bread (and not that kind) is incredible. Frank Reid |
