Welcome Back Mr Bumppo,
Martini night at John's trailor will last from the 16th through the 23rd so
drop by an time with a glass......To bad your gonna miss Penns. i just have a
feeling this is going to be a good year.... Tom promised if it rains more than
6 days lobsta night was his treat.......
Is there any truth to the rumor about you checking out the bottom of Penns
Creek with your face something about looking for a flyrod maybe it was a hat
can't really remember ????
By the way Tom and i have a trailor at Hemlock Acres now so if ya want to
fish some weekend give one of us a shout........

Hi Mike. Good to hear from ya. Thanks for the Martini invite but if I take
another day off from work that week before leaving for vaca I won't have a
job to come home to. I'll take you up on the weekend fishing offer though.
A nice 3 hour drive and I'm there.

As for that nasty rumor.....I can say it is an unqualified, dirty filthy
truth. I got real intimate with the bottom of the Little J (and a bat) then
did some underwater exploration where Spruce dumps into the Espy stretch.

Suffice is to say that according to DavePA, I've raised the bar quite a bit.
The old standard Double Reid with a half LaCourse has been eclipsed by what
is now known as the Full Bumppo. As graceful as it may be, it is not
something one can repeat often, that is not unless you own stock in Orvis.
Lets just say I've got a new 4wt. Orvis rod and I had an opportunity to get
that JAF reel I'd been wanting for a few years.

Natty (white men can't jump and Bumppos don't float)
