A duelly? Does that mean I have to carry a gun? :-)

No, it's not a dually.

Guns are required in duallies here in Nebraska. *They use them to put
down guys in Audis that get stuck.

Audis don't get stuck. *Saw a demo one time of 4x4s going up a hill
that was unplowed. *Audi was the only one that made it. *Besides, what
do Audis get stuck in in Nebrasker * - *corn?

Home safely and managed only 26 mpg on the trip. *There was no damage
due to the hail storm.

Dave

If you don't occasionally get stuck you're not doing it right.

Yeah, pretty much. See so many 4X4's on the coasts that never have
had dirt under their tires. Here, dirt is a part of your commute.

I don't know about elsewhere, but during snowstorms here in New
England, *most* of the cars in the median or crashed into the woods are
4x4s. People think because they have four wheel drive they are
impervious to slippin' & slidin'. Nothing can be farther from the
truth.

No, it's not a dually.

Ya know, I was thinking about that spelling driving home today when I
saw a dually, albeit a Dodge. But I *knew* you'd have a remark about
it.

d;o)

Probably explains the low mileage - angry driving will do that.

Stuff it, sock. Notice the "smiley" in the message, sock? I wasn't
angry. How does anger affect mileage?

Now, go back to your sock drawer where you belong.

Dave

That's not a "smiley" - that's "someone with a wicked case of diverticulitis
and anger management issues wearing a driving hat and two-footing the go and
stop pedals".

hth :-)

That's funny stuff, Angry Man. No wonder your guts are in turmoil.
How many minutes did that promise last before you broke it? 5? :-)

Too sweet a deal to pass up. Great incentives from Ford for the model-
year change -- clearing inventory. My 2000 F150 has 190,000 mi and is
starting to nickel and dime me. Too unreliable. I have to give it up
on the best vehicle I've ever owned. Sad, but I'll get over it. It
will become the Stanley dump-run/wood-cutting truck, living into a
ripe old age if the head gasket doesn't blow.

Just picked up a new Audi A8L. *An old man's car -- how appropriate. *I
needed something that could move, give me luxory, and got good gas
mileage. *We got 29+ mpg on our trip from GA to MA.

The old bike rack wouldn't fit, so I took off the front wheel of my
fishing bike, wrapped it in a couple of old quilts, and put it in the
back seat of the A8L. *Fit quite nicely, with room to spare for other
things.

Is that F350 a duelly?

So what's your hitch capacity and tow weight for your Audi?

Uhhh, what would I be towing? No need to tow *anything*. If it can't
fit inside, I don't need it.

You are going to be Hundred and Thousand to death with that piece of $#it
Ford diesel engine. Should have bought a Chevy (Isuzu diesel) or a Dodge
(Cummins diesel). How a renouned manufacturer like Ford could make such
rock solid Diesel engines for farm tractors, could end up produceing such
unreliable, breakage prone garbage Diesel engines for their F250-350 class
of trucks is beyond me. GOOD LUCK, your going to need it!

Could it be him? Maybe? Ah huh. Probably is. Amazing how writing
style, word choice and snotty attitude are identifiable. . . .
especially for braggart chicken**** purveyors of questionable
parentage playing anonomouse.
