I got a new, pocket sized, "water resistant" digital camera, too. I'm
certain I won't live up to Willi's example, but I plan to have the log "more
visual" this year.

I've done logs from time to time, and although they can be VERY useful
especially when looking at how things were during a certain part of the
year, I'm not a very "disciplined" person. I'll start off doing a decent
job but soon always end up hit and miss. Since I got a digital camera
that I carry in my vest, the pictures I take have turned into a log of
sorts for me. They are dated when I download them to the computer and
even if they're just scenery pix, they usually can jog my memory. I find
it much easier to take some shots than write down a day's experience.
