i like the "roffraff" thing. good on you.

my son is here visiting- caught a one lb 1 oz brookie- i got a one lb 2 oz
brookie 14"- fun stuff

now we are on our way out do to the real thang ;-)

no formal name. just a friend,his wife, their 10 year-old daughter,
another friend and his wife. they played old bluegrass music (banjo,
guitar, mandolin, bass viola) at our watering hole. lane has played
professionally, but now works for pitney-bowes. it was a happy and
pleasant evening for me, among nice folk, with my family at the end of a
busy week - thus, "bliss".

Sounds good. I had something similar, a
friend doing an open mike at a bar and half
the people there related. I'm pretty sure
that most of the music wasn't up to what
you heard, tho. I wish more people around
here were into bluegrass.

i assume when you folks are talking about the october event, you mean
the graham county gathering of contrarians? if so, and if in fact some
will be packin instruments (of music), i might check with a few of my
friends to see what can be arranged for a ... a ... damn...(what the
hell ya'll call it when a bunch of musicians assemble sorta ad hoc like
and have fun??).

back in the seventies we used to call it an excuse to get laid. i
suspect another description might be more appropriate, these days.
