boat operation ?

What effect does trimming the motor up have on the boat, is there more or less boat actually in the water?"

I would only have been repeating what Bob said. Bob's answer(s) were right on the money. He took the time to explain why the trim does what it does, giving Phillip the information needed to understand, not just giving him a curt answer. You wasted more time, as I am doing now, replying to me.

Okay. Let's take a close look at the question:

"What effect does trimming the motor up have on the boat, is
there more or less boat actually in the water?"

Perhaps a semicolon would have been better, but essentially
the question was, "If you trim up, is there more or less
boat actually in the water."

What do YOU say?

Perhaps I missed your more informative answer.

Looked like the right answer to me. He offered two choices: more or less.

"Less" is correct.

Ok, you got me. If that was the best answer you could possibly come up with,
so be it. (Pssst, next time I ask a question, please don't answer.)

That's what I thought.

I suppose Frenchy was just having a bad hair day.
