Are you overclocking?

No. Near as I can figure is that when I was re-formatting my primary HD
(I try out several freeware programs and store data on a separate HD so
that I can routinely do fresh installs of Windows to clear the registry,
etc) is that the software that came with my HDs fubared my drive. I was
reformatting the primary (doing a zero fill) when the program seized up.
I let it sit overnight figuring that it would work itself loose by the
morning, but it was still hung up when I woke up the next day. I
rebooted and reformatted the HD but when I did the fresh install of
Windows, the secondary HD was fubared and had somehow been formatted as
RAW.

Excuse the hell out of me. I've decided that the camera was getting in
the way of my fishing experience. It's also one more damn piece of gear
to carry around.
