I was thinking more of thats where props, lower units, and more than a
few tempers are lost...
pat (very novice when behind the wheel of a boat)

Lower units are supposed to bounce off stuff right? Either that or
I'm doing it all wrong. :}
I'm the prop lady's favorite customer.

Well, for the first time I'll be able to make it. I'll probably sleep
in my own bed at nite, but haven't made up my mind about that yet. I
can't wait to meet all you guys and gals.

Oh ya, I plan on spendin a lot of time on Boom, studying. :}

What you really need to study on Boom, is where are the stumps, rocks....

If that is where the fish are, I'll know them well.

This is shaping up to be a doozy, and just remember if we get too loud at
Hubers house on Saturday night someone might call the cop. : ), that is of
course if he isn't already there. and the next person that lives less than 5
hours from Rhinelander and has to think about making it gets kicked in the
shins real hard, another 1200 miles with Harry, wow thats over 10,000 miles
with him in the past two years, ya think these get togethers are fun or
what?

I hope to be there for my first ever ROFB "tournament"! And what a
way to start, on a lake only rumored to have Bass (or so I have read).

Only 129 days to go and counting...better start working on permission
from the boss & wife...the wife is harder to convince than the boss.

Do what I did - get rid of the wife and be your own boss! I don't regret
either decision :)

I just went to mapquest...

From the center of South Elgin (home) to Rhinelander is 306.02
miles...4 hours 59 minutes...

It must be fate that it is less than 5 hours...

The thought has crossed my mind more than once, but the advantages
still outweigh the disadvantages - by a slim margin :).

Overall, they are both pretty good at letting me do what I want...

attending the Northwoods Classic.

Please go to

Those of you that are wondering what the NWC is about, or if you're eligible
to attend, if you're reading this, you're eligible. Any questions, feel
free to contact me either through the ROFB, via OutdoorFrontiers.com or
private e-mail at this address.

Let me know Rich, it's a good time and shaping up to be a memorable NWC.
There's (if I remember correctly) 27 people that have made noises that
they're coming. Boater or non-boater?
