Well all of that would take much too long to dispute on a point by point basis, especially considering that a boy is pretty much swamped just now, what with listening to a debate on Muslim radicalism in the U.S., eating everything in sight, reading something or other about native plant communities here in coulee country, watching the snow fall, nursing indignant muscles recently subjected to unaccustomed labor out in the woods, and puzzling over the everlastingly inscrutable efforts of so many of our brethren directed at exposing themselves for what they are.....like they really NEED to do that at this late date.....ainna? O.k. You may hitherto refer to me as Sensei giles who concedes that, yes, the cast around the rock thingy is a useful little trick.. :) |

Having never had the misfortune to meet him I know some of you do like him Why? Some of you cinsider him a friend What is his f'ing problem? Fred Who knows know that he will get an inane and insane retort from him = luckily he is killfiled where this kind of behavior belongs Simply stated Fred... I consider Wolfgang to be a friend, even though we rarely get together, but nonetheless he is my friend! Anyone that leaves ROFF does it of their own volition, regardless of Wolfgang's prescence here. That you replied caustically to someone else's post denigrating Wolfgang, say more about you than it does about Wolfgang's persona on ROFF. my $0.02 Op Op There is a difference I have never or rrarely insulted anyone or anyone's intellect in any manner or form. I have alos tried to make some informative posts If you do not see the diff in posters then I am truly sorry fpr you and his other " friends" This group is supposed to be based on a sport for enjoyment and fun When it becomes NOT fun to be on ROFF - I for one have quite a queue of other things to do This group is far from being my life I am certaion that many others including some interesting , valuable and thoughtful people have left for similar reasons and if you care, I susoect not) I am close to ****canning this group mainly because of oine jerk If he is truly your friend them you should help him as he is truily skewed and close to the deep end pronbably crying fopr assistance Moron F BTW - You seem to be a good guy I have absolutely NO problems w you and I regret that iit is not reciprocal - but- Ces't la vie... agaoin - Who knows know that he will get an inane and insane retort from a goat |

... Hi, Won't be able to get out for a few weeks yet, but was thinking a bit ahead. I may do some early fishing from a rowboat, and, frankly, have never liked using a flyrod off the boat. Always results in rod dings no matter how careful I am. So, have mainly use a spinning rod and the typical spinning lures from the boat, and the flyrods from shore. Question: how would one rig a spinning setup to be able to cast, e.g., size 6 or so, flies with a spinning rod ? A small weight a bit up from the fly, or a dropper with a weight, or ...? Practical at all, or, forget it, and just crank out the flyrod again ? Thanks, Bob Google float and fly. |
