When it comes to getting down in the 21st century substitute Bono for Dylan and thongs are *not* optional. Amazingly enough, the geezer remembers the rest. -- Ken Fortenberry |

Allows me the luxury of spending time on flies. BTW, I'll take cooking ability over choice of underwear any day. Peter turn mailhot into hotmail to reply |

Peter With a spouse that loves exploring gustatorial delights, every day is a surprise. On the other hand, other than the days of the week embroidery, the thong remains the same. I would like to try the fly. I was actually looking for your page tonight as I find that my choice of streamers in my box is almost nil. Could you post the link again? -- Frank Reid Reverse email to reply |

Agree wholeheartedly -- just finsihed a BBQ coho salmon steak with garlic rice and a nice muscat to wash it down. I would like to try the fly. I was actually looking for your page tonight as I find that my choice of streamers in my box is almost nil. Could you post the link again? I blew it away. It was dated and I didn't have the energy or the inclination to finish its replacement. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll email you what I have left. wrote: Going back to Tom's post, these streamers I'm working on will be in two sizes: steelhead and resident trout. I'd like to send a few of the trout versions off to the Penns crew so they can test drive them in the spring. Some will be based on the weamer pattern while I'm working on another style to use for the dace/chub/sculpin class of baitfish. For the Sculpin pattern, I'm looking at using a small Wilson or Salar double turned up to avoid snagging when run deep. I'm aiming for a weight balance that'll enable it to swim well and still get down. Ever looked into keel flies? There's a book, "Fishing the Impossible Places" and I suspect some info on the web. "With a spouse that loves exploring gustatorial delights, every day is

I can cook up a gustatory delight for myself any day of the week, and get a few suprises to boot (made a butterflied pork fillet spread with apple-onion-parmesean paste, baked at 375 for 15 minutes last night). But a thing in a thong set my heart soaring, years on end. I perpetually live in the state of an amazed youth with his first car or first apartment, wondering if its really all for him! --riverman |
