Contrary to popular opinion, not everyone is from LA.

Funny you should mention that. Recent studies (as yet unpublished.....but I
got friends in the peer review bidness) show conclusively that everyone
actually IS from Los Angeles. Hey, no one was more surprised than me!

Nor does most of the country care what goes on there.

Leading one to suppose that most of the country need not bother replying to

You're just not that important enaough to killfile on every computer I
might find my self on in a day, just the one I have to carry with me.

And apologies for any misunderstanding, Google puts my email address in
the from line, I try to sign off as Skwala for any post.

It's all about this:
Quite possibly, the best interpretation of Khachaturian I've heard in a
while.

With a schmalz factor this high, I can't believe they won't be the next
teen phenom in this country.

And none taken, I don't take anything said in this venue too
seriously....

And I wouldn't be opposed to a cup of coffee at all, especiall if it
was just before hitting teh Skwala hatch on the Bitterroot.

I understand. When one contemplates undertaking a truly difficult and time
consuming task beyond one's natural intellectual limits, it pays to think it
over carefully.

just the one I have to carry with me.

Ah yes, that would be the one on which you must read every message in ROFF
on pain of death, right?

And apologies for any misunderstanding,

Tut, tut......think nothing of it.

Yet another difficult chore. One wonders how you bear up under the strain.

You have *got* to be kidding, that's not an "interpretation"
of Khachaturian or anything else. It reminds me of nothing
more than the trained monkey act at the St. Louis Zoo. Those
poor little zombies are not interpreting music, they're
just pecking at what they're conditioned to peck at. Looks
like a creepy sort of borderline child abuse to me.
