My Grandfather had one /Roger Thank you Roger. That's a start. I've been working with Google, but have not yet found a boat building site that sells blueprints--Swedish, Finnish or Norweigian, or whatever. That's what I want: blueprints. That looks like a damn fine boat. |

I did find a PDF-file with instructions and drawings - unfortunately the text is in Finnish, but maybe a boat builder like you can make some sense of the obscure drawings: http://www.hirvas-vaappu.com/VENE%20OHJEET.pdf -- Jarmo Hurri Commercial email countermeasures included in header email address. This seems to be much like a long skinny dory at both ends, stretched apart by a flat spot in the middle. That's seems to be the distinguishing characteristic of this boat..........the only way to make a looooong dory that doesn't end up shaped like a bananna. |

They're a boat building Web site and someone there might know more. Or be able to translate the Finnish for you. -- r.bc: vixen Minnow goddess.Speaker to squirrels, willow watcher, etc..
