who, what with one recent major car repair just past and awaiting the
dreaded mechanic call on what will almost certainly be another, is
heartened (if only minimally) on considering that 60 ain't all that far
off. :(

Repair on the new wheels?

Yeah.....but then, "new" is a relative term.

...after the mileage and age on your last set of wheels I thought you were
repair proof!...

I actually invested a good deal of money and aggravation in that van.
Still, a lifetime of coddling old vehicles has been a lot cheaper in the
long run than buying new ones.

you did sell the old van to Littleton didn't you?

I donated it to the Humane Society. How's THAT for irony!

Wolfgang
and, anyway, the new problem turned out to be related to the old problem.
bottom line for the second fix: $0.00. :)

In article ,
says...
Imagine if you will DaVinci. True artist...a national treasure of
Renaissance Italy, no? Ok, so now imagine DaVinci being alive to see the
process of creating frescoes change from an artist with brushes and paint to
one where wallpaper is used. A major change, no?

Actually a pretty interesting example. DaVinci was an early adopter of
the brand new technology now known as "oil paint." Oil painting
actually did lead to the end of the art of the fresco, even though the
fresco artists of the time, like Michealangelo, looked at oil painting
with the same regard that wayno has for digital photography.

now, just hold on here; with a very high quality printer, i will admit
that the new slr bodied models can provide the beginnings for a first
quality porn operation--what with all that privacy, and such.

Um, how in the heck can one be so sure of what Michelangelo thought
about oil painting...I mean, other than that, apparently, really old
guys do think that oil and porn go together like, well, oil and porn...

Know what I mean nudge, nudge, wink, wink,
