If at first you donīt succeed, then try and try again.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's
opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.

I've actually lost track of how long this latest ****storm has been
raging; and though frequently entertaining and even occasionally
thought-provoking, it's become unfortunately circular and repetitive
with no new material for a while now.

Let's face it, Whack-a-Mole is fun, but not for two weeks. Clearly
the Moles will always pop up for more; but I should think the Whacker
would eventually tire of the game. (The respective identities of the
whackers and the whackees are, of course, subjective.:-)

So, I'll offer only a quote variously attributed to Albert Einstein
and Ben Franklin (and likely the work of neither) that:

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over
again and expecting different results."

And thus we will suppose that you haven't been holding your breath while
waiting for a serious and thoughtful reply. :)

I will further suppose that you haven't deluded yourself into believing that
anything will change as a result of this effort.

Still, you're right, it needs to be said from time to time by someone who
CAN be taken seriously.

Meanwhile, we may dispense with the usual litany of free speech arguments
and simply state as an undeniable fact that life will go on as before.
There will be whackers and the will be whackees. And, while it may be
difficult for spectators to tell them apart, you may rest assured that
participants are well aware of which camp they reside in.

You got *that* right. :-)

That too.

Actually, I believe it's abundantly clear to all but the moles.

Actually, it's abundantly clear to all.....ESPECIALLY the moles. :)

Pay particular attention to those who claim not to pay any attention to the
mallet.

Wolfgang
they ALWAYS give themselves away.......it is utterly impossible for them not
to. :)

"Quotations are the distilled spirit of wisdom--or of foolishness.
Distilled spirits are harsh on the tongue of the neophyte and are liable to
addle the wits even of the adept. They should be used sparingly and with
good judgment."

AHA! I KNEW IT! A real English he-man would know that getting the bird
is great...and you stand a lot better chance of getting your hand in
some bush that way, too...

As recently pointed out to me at some length, this is primarily a
North American group, and "getting the bird" is a North American
expression. Your apparently minimal knowledge of British English slang
is about as much use here as your apparently extensive knowledge of
diapers.

In other words, you're more interested in the cocks...not that there's
anything wrong with that...for a nappy-headed Nazi homo ho...

Dickie
....and, er, "bird" is "British English 'slang?'"...and your apparently
minimal knowledge of anything is about proportional to your apparently
extensive need of diapers...

The only ones who constantly refer to cocks, asses, homos, nappies,
and practically anything at all to do with ****, are you and
Fortenberry, who also refers to other contributors here as sluts, and
their relatives as cun**. No idea how this reflects on your
particular proclivities, but it certainly does not sound healthy. It
also demonstrates a very serious lack of maturity, basic intelligence,
and respect for other people.

"Bird" is British English slang for a woman.

So dick, why donīt you try selling your diapers to someone else.
