It's not one sick person here, it's a whole bundle. Or to repeat what you suggested, if you think the guy is sick, do you really believe that the right thing to do is to keep poking him with sticks? It is deeply unpleasant, and the thuggish cruelty is, sadly, not untypical of this NG. L |

The "right thing" to do is convince the loony ******* that he has neither the temperament nor the social skills to participate in online forums. I'm doing my level best towards that end, it's you whiny apologists who are the real cruel thugs. (And besides, once the crazy ******* actually did "show his ass" my job here is pretty much done. ;-) -- Ken Fortenberry |

My question was only addressed to those who have said they think Mike is actually, truly mentally ill and should seek help. Those who think he's just "loony" or "crazy" or a "nutjob" in the everyday colloquial sense, carry on, by all means. I don't understand, though, how someone can taunt and goad and mock a person they honestly think is ill. - JR |

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Mike has killed himself. I hope he doesn't. He truly needs professional help. Dave |

His Loony Mikeness should definitely seek the help of a mental health professional but as to whether he's actually certifiable according to DSM-IV, who knows. And who cares ? Calling the loony ******* crazy drives him crazy and that's good enough for my purposes. ;-) -- Ken Fortenberry |

Op --rewording slightly what Lazarus said " It's not one sick person here..." but several sick people poking sticks at one another.-- |

So here's my thoughts on how to deal with His Loony Mikeness. To every Loony Mikeness post some designated roffian will append a disclaimer, something along the lines of: Disclaimer: "This guy is crazy, pay no attention to his posts, but please don't ever post any questioning or disagreement because we think this guy is so bonkers he just might off himself." What do you think ? -- Ken Fortenberry |

What do you think ? I think that not answering him is a better idea. You're still poking him with the above "disclaimer". We all know he needs help, Ken. Further abuse is uncalled for. jmho Dave |
