Yale most memorable quotes of 2009:#1 Keep your government hands off
my medicare. After citizens discovered the Obama plan to cut
$550,000,000 from medicare.#4 You Lie! Wilson after repeated Obama
lies on Health Care during address to Joint Session.#5 The Cambridge
Police Acted Stupidly! When Major Hasan killed 13 people, Obama held a
press conference at the White House urging everyone to “not make any
rush to judgments.”

With all the evidence about Hasan coming to light and even though the
majority of Americans recognized this as a terrorist attack, Obama
stood up in front of thousands of military personnel and insulted
their intelligence, did he mention the word “terrorist.” Instead,
Obama blamed what happened at Fort Hood on “cynicism and divisiveness”
and the stress of multiple deployments.

There’s something very unique in this entire situation that the state-
run media has completely neglected: how Obama has reacted to various
situations that have arisen during his time in office.

Let’s go back to May of this year. On May 31, an anti-abortion
extremist named Scott Roeder gunned down Dr. George Tiller, an
abortion doctor. Almost immediately, Obama released a statement saying
he was “shocked and outraged” by Tiller’s murder.

Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, immediately stationed U.S.
Marshals at abortion clinics across the country.

A day later, on June 1, the first terrorist attack in Little Rock,
Ark. was committed under Obama’s watch. Pfc. William Long, 23, and
Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, were shot by a man named Abdulhakim
Mujahid Muhammad.

Obama’s reaction to this was more emotionally toned down. He did not
issue any remarks until a couple days later, when he claimed he was
“deeply saddened.” There were no U.S. Marshals stationed at recruiting
centers, as there were at abortion clinics.

Fast forward to July 26. Police in Cambridge, Mass. arrested professor
Henry-Lewis Gates, an African-American professor, for disorderly
conduct and disturbing the peace.

At a press conference on health care a day later, a reporter asked
Obama about his opinion on the incident. Obama said,“I don’t know all
the facts…but I think the police acted stupidly.”

In perhaps the only truthful thing Obama has ever said since becoming
president, he acknowledged he didn’t have all the facts. But he was
quick to pass judgment on white police officers arresting a black man.

This is also because Obama disdains our military. As a senator, he
voted to cut off vital funding to our troops fighting in Iraq and
Afghanistan and voted against the troop surge in Iraq. He is now in
command of the same troops he voted to betray.

As commander-in-chief, he proclaimed that the idea of victory in
Afghanistan makes him uncomfortable and,for nearly three months,
dragged his feet on deciding whether to send more troops to
Afghanistan.

dumb asses......

Because he sympathizes with them. He thinks America is a bad country
that has abused the rest of the world, made them do our bidding,
bullied them, and stole their resources. Obama hates America; just
like his buddy Bill Ayers the SDS bomber and Jeremiah Wright do. That
is why Obama is always overseas apologizing for our "bad" country.
Americans elected a president who DOES NOT believe in the essential
goodness of America! We will come to regret that.

Republicans opposed the Marshall Plan after WWII.

Here's my favorite quote from William F. Buckley, founder of the

“The Beatles are not merely awful. They are so unbelievably horrible,
so appallingly unmusical, so dogmatically insensitive to the magic of
the art, that they qualify as crowned heads of antimusic.”

Well, at least, in this quote, he was correct, as history will (and to
a degree, already has) show(n). *Their music does not "live". *

Their music does not live? I guess that would depend on what you mean
by "live"......or, perhaps more precisely, on whether we should assume
that any meaning at all attaches to the term as you use it.

It was
a fad, was not musical, barely rhythmic, and appealed only to the
journalistic mind that believed it had found something, or to
rebellious dilatants.

Well, it was popular music, so I guess that in one sense or another it
can legitimately be thought of as a fad.....ephemera, if you
will.....much as that of Beethoven, the Gershwins, Somalian drumming,
Irving Berlin, Andean pan-pipes and......um.....well, just about
anything that doesn't quite measure up to your personal tastes,
elevated standards and eternal authority.

cheers, anyway; and Merry Christmas

oz, who never confuses sales figures with quality

No, one should never confuse sales figures with quality. Quality is
an inherent esthetic characteristic demonstrated by conformity with
objective criteria which we are certain you will reveal to us when the
time is right.......when he have shown sufficient interest in and
mastery of what you will, if we are lucky, one day tell us matters.
