Apology to Mr Harrison and Miller

huh??? ok, when is the guy with the cream pie coming through the door?
is cindy crawford in washington state? i mean...damn, i'm just all
bewildered and discombobulated now.

however, thanks, i appreciate and respect the public statement...most
unusual in these parts, and certainly not sought or required, which
makes it that much more significant and telling about one's character.
it's the start of a new day for both of us. i'll try to carry my share
of the burden here on out.

In the thread on Knots I got a little ouf hand.
The internet is a wonderful invention. It lets us communicate with
people we would otherwise never know. It is not perfect and all of
the usual problems with human communication can be magnified if we
behave just a little different than we do in our normal lives.
Add a couple of panes of dark glass, some eithernet fog and mist and
the guy on the other end can become a formless blob. Add a little
malevolent imagination and he can become an evil monster.
In allowing Mr. Harrsion and Mr. Miller to become what I said or
implied were(in my thoughts and posts) I have become what I am not.
I thank them for bringing me to this point of realization and
reflection. I saw myself as I am not, and I didn't like it.
My sincere apology and thanks to both.

Which category am I in? :-)

Oh boy! HEY! LOOK EVERYBODY! A THREAD ABOUT STEVIE!

Wolfgang
who is certain that he speaks for all of roff in declaring that it's about

Upon further reflection, I would rather _give_ a
full body massage _to_ Cindy Crawford than apologize
on roff.

SPLORK VANG

And a MU......for the impeccable timing!

Wolfgang

Well, I didn't have a cow handy so I left the MU off.

Oh, and the roff acronym database may be lost. Now I won't know WTF I'm
saying.

An old version is available on the wayback machine and Google has it cached.
I grabbed a copy - not in easily restored database form, but good html.

You're an effeminate putz, an arrogant snob and a prissy
little control freak with a Terry Thomas smirk on a Sandra
Bernhard mug. That puts you squarely in the middle category.

I would have asked Ken about your category, but that would have been an
even worse waste of bandwidth.
