You could try taking a walk into www.bobmarriotts.com. Located in
Fullerton, it is supposedly the largest fly fishing store in the world.
My local shop is Malibu Fish-n-Tackle in Thousand Oaks. You can call them
at 805-496-7332. They'll probably refer you to suitable instructors.

club and see if they offer some lessons. Many do or have practice before their
meetings.
