Ralph took the pledge a few years ago after an incident one New Year's eve where he verbally attacked some people at a local shelter. He was under the influence at the time, and as a result, apologized publically and gave up drinking. Yeah, I probably should have included a smiley there, as I remember the incident. IIRC, he admitted he had a problem, but didn't feel the need to seek professional help. So does it appear that he's sober these days? Or is it hard to tell? :-) BTW, sorry I didn't get a chance to get together with you on my trip. Unfortunately, I basically went fishing on very short notice in between sightseeing and visits with SWMBO's family and friends. I understand, it would have been fun to get together, but timelines are always short. Next time. Will do. Maybe you can show me all the *really* good spots. ;-) Though I must say, I got enough action on dries (well, actually on a #16 parachute Adams) to feel like my outings were a success. Who knows what I might have done if I had tried nymphing. ;-) Chuck Vance |

He is happy the province is now debt-free, and is looking at eliminating helth care premiums for seniors now. They still have a ways to go to restore services to earlier levels. Will do.
