Ive never worn a military uniform and don't get medals. What I know is
not to talk about medals and other stuff. My only friend who had the
CMOH died last year and he had put his efforts into the local
Democratic Party. He was embarrassed if the subject of medals was
raised. A relative with the Silver Star wouldn't say anything about it
for decades. Another friend with the Silver Star went up into a canyon
in Salt Lake, and blew his brains out. And another guy I couldnt help
spent years wandering the alleys of Seattle calling in coordinates on
a fake radio pak made of garbage. Oh yeah, a client/friend with one of
the big three medals, leads a quiet life as a vet agency exec last
time I knew. They were/are all good people. YEMD

any vets that are ashamed of what they did, or want
