on the day I saw you (the last time anyone saw you) the weather was very
warm and sunny. It was so warm that I was stripped down to my shorts
while I was putting up my tent. Your pants are on fire.

on Wednesday, Oct. 6 in Lewiston, ID, and we're meeting up with Warren,
Chas, and (I hope) John Hightower for steelhead on the Clearwater. I
cannot imagine a more amiable crew of fishing companions. Let's hope the
fish cooperate.

If anyone else on ROFF is interested, we'll be at the Myrtle campground,
between Lewiston and Orifino, through the weekend.
