Prefishing Boom seems pointless to me.

It has helped me.

I like the lake too,
but people want a change of scenery I guess.

Yup, I'm not against Boom for the quality of fishing -- but in favor of
a change of scenery...There are many many many awesome lakes near Steve.....
Mohawksin is "in town" too --- but as I recall, there is more diverse
structure (even a railroad bridge for those of you who like bridge
pilings.

Before Labor Day means fish will still be in summer hangouts -- probably
not moving to fall feeding positions (deep water?)

PS: Since the boat shop has now had the Zen Basser for more than 5
weeks, I better sign up as a non-boater until they get their head out of
their toolbox and realize they are loosing business. (I was set to buy
a new 4 stroke 50 from them, but I guess they just pi$$ed that sale away....)
But each time I call them, they say, It will be ready in 2 days.....lol.

I like Boom but any lake in tha area is fine with me, although I might
not have liked it quite as much if Kevin hadn't shown me where to fish
on Saturday. It would work out good if the weekend was changed for
next year. I have a wedding on the Saturday after labor day and it's
my wife's Godson. If I fish that day I might as well not bother
coming home. So the weekend before labor day sounds good to me no
matter what lake we fish.

Boom fine with me too,but as for changing it to the week before most likely
I wont be able to attend :( Our fishing week in Wis starts the same time as
the Northern Classic so keep it the same date.

Hi Chris,

I'm sorry to hear that the weekend before Labor Day won't work for you.
BUT, with that being said, I'm going to have to change the NWC to that
weekend. Is there any chance that you can change your fishing week to
coincide with the new date?

I have just too many things going on in September and it's either change the
date or cancel the event entirely. My schedule has become unbelievably
hectic and those are my options, I don't like it, but that's how it is. I
don't see how I can be in Wyoming, Ontario and Quebec, plus run the NWC in
the same month.

Sorry,
