You're too damned ornery to get waylaid this early in the game. Who loves ya baby? Thanks Frank, and thanks to all. There's nothing like a trip to the chemo ward to put things in perspective. Compared to some of the folks I met there my situation is damn near trivial. And the amazing thing is how happy they are ! Not a grump or a grumble or even a trace of self pity in the whole place. You'll not meet a more gregarious, outgoing and pleasant group of folks outside of a roff Clave. It's an amazing thing when folks keep hope alive. I think this stuff I'm on now is the ticket. Dave Snedeker is right, as usual, this is some wicked powerful ****. No way I could have got out this weekend but I'm just ornery enough to get out there soon. -- Ken Fortenberry Ken I wish I could be as helpful as you and some other ROFFians were to me. I do remember the SoCal friend who had the aspirins, and the fact that you and someone else insisted I see a Doc, and Bob who made the ultimate sacrifice of giving up the Madison to drive my lady to the hospital in Billings. And others. Hang in there. Dave |

It doesn't surprise me that my auto-immune system is an ornery sumbitch, it is *my* system after all. ;-) But I *will* kick its ass and I *will* be on a stream real soon now. Thanks everybody, there's no place like roff. hell...it could be worse. you could be on fawn lake with bad kidneys. g take care and get well. jeff |
