BTW, I'd druther Clinton than any other Dem. I've never said character doesn't matter. Ever. That was my issue with Clinton, especially insofar as he allowed character flaws(we all have 'em) to interfere with the effectiveness of his Presidency. That said, I'd take Clinton, flaws and all, over what Bush did to the nation. Tom |

I doubt you will find many men as generous as I. And many on roff know that, including Tom. Your trouble, sir, is that you mouth the words but don't walk the walk. Typical of a socialist. Louie |

Chuck Vance (playing the martyr card ain't gonna cut it, imho) No martyr card played, Chuck. Just the truth. I have been the recipient of some vile posts, and yes, I have returned same. Time to call a peace? I'm all for it, but I doubt the stone throwers are. Dave |

You've really gotta feel for folks like Barbra Streisand and George Soros, what with unselfishly being willing to make do with only a mega-mansion or two and occasionally having to wash down the Royal Ossetra with less-than-perfect vintages of bubbly while jetting to one of the yachts' current moorings on anything less than a G4...I've always kinda suspected it was pretty easy to support all sorts of spending that really wouldn't affect one's own standard of living... You are so full of ****, Fortenberry, I can smell it down here. I doubt you will find many men as generous as I. Or of greater modesty, apparently... Yeah, I know...I doubt it will help, R |
