Warren, you should be kinder and stop battling Ken. In a battle of wits, it is
not nice to attack the defenseless.

No, it means that nobody, left, right or martian, can bitch and moan
about clearly marked OT political threads on roff.

Fer gawd's sake Lou, that tired old put-down was lame way back
when you still had hair.

Not sure that being good at a "put-down" is an especially admirable trait.

Being a lame and pathetic numskull isn't particularly admirable either
and given a choice between being an accomplished put-down artist or a
pathetic numskull I know which side of the coin I'd rather be on.

So, being in a magnanimous mood this morning, please allow me this
small bit of tutelage in the fine art of the insult. Lou's admonition
to Warren doesn't really work because it's not constructed properly.
Try this instead; "Warren, you are aware of course that in engaging
Ken in a battle of wits you are fighting an unarmed man."

Now see, isn't that much better ? Let that be a lesson to you.

It's still better than "**** you, choc."
