however one *describes* it, some things never change, including the fact

Money may have something to do with that
phenomenon.

i thought about that, and posed the question to my son. i contended that it
wasn't about money because those women have plenty of their own, to which he
replied, "yeah, butt that way, they don't have to spend it."
good point

i too have similar memories. i have very few of my father, since he became
absent from my life at a very early age, but i do remember him sitting
around playing his guitar, and singing hank williams, george jones, willy
nelson, etc. these were my favorite times with him, and like i said, just
about all i remember-at least with fondness.
the same was true of my maternal grandfather. he'd sit in the kitchen while
granny was cooking, and pick and sing. i'm told i was his favorite- maybe i
had the best appreciation for hi music, and maybe that's why. anyway, i
loved it when he sang and played. in fact that's how he died- sitting on a
stool in the kitchen doorway picking and singin when he fell over from a
stroke, while we sat around him, and granny was cookin.
to this day, i am a sucker for a man with a guitar, and a voice........

Nice, I'm impressed. Although the casting dynamics seem a bit on the
easy side. Or then I've just become much better during the winter.
