Secondly is a mail tube best for mailing it back to the manufacturer. I will
also be sure to including a sob story letter with the snapped rod.

Considering the source, that would be a S.O.B. story, wouldn't it?

for a wicked new bass wackin', eyecrosser comin' out just in time for this
Christmas too! They are fourteen elves in an Alison bass boat for the half
hour infomercial. Further rumour has it that the Tooth Ferry has a line of
custom rods on consignment just clearing a sweat, oops, er ugh factory from
China ;-)
Thanks Eric, made me LOL!

BTW, has anyone received theirs yet? I'm thinking with all this
time gone by, my name must have been passed by.

The fishing season is on the wayside for me now. I got into a lot of domestic
hot water for fishing twice a day and everyday so i'm trying to cool things
down. I've been doing some more research, tooling up, and looking for a tutor.
It shouldn't be long before i'm up and at them.

Maybe your boyfriend can help you with your research?

as said befo
Don't remove the cello from the handle of the rod until it snaps. The
warranty
will be honored better when you present a rod with a mint handle.

There is other reasons for keeping the cello on the handle. It is damn hard to
get off and so the warranty is rightfully extended. Using a finger nail or
knife you risk damaging the cork. It is a little trying to strip it off when
your preping your gear to go fishing. Basically you just want to start fishing
and to hell with fiddling around with it. Custom rods as far as i know do not
come with cello wrapped handles. Lastly if you happen to catch (ot) salmon or
pike there is a problem with slime smell and you don't want the fluids of this
sort on the cork handle for obvious reasons.
Hope this further helps

Rightfully? Huh? The warranty is spelled out in the documentation. Does
it say somewhere in there that it lasts a different length of time
depending on whether the handle remains wrapped in plastic film?

Let me guess, you have plastic slip covers on your living room
furniture, don't you? To keep the 'fluids' off in case you have some
kind of OT activity going on there, eh?

Hope this further helps

further? where's the prior?

Rich, one further advantage to leaving the celo on is, it's a lot less
painless when the handle of your fishin' pole is being shoved up one's
orifice of most inconvenience..... well, you know where! Which in this
case maybe quite often. ;-)
