Thank Allah, we aren't governed by plebisite! It's difficult enuff
recallin' one politician, just think if we had to recall the entire
electorate!

after the Lockerbie plane bombing ??
What exactly *did* the CinC do about
those attacks on us, which killed a hell
of a lot more Americans than were lost
during the entire eight years of the
Clinton administrations ?

Touche! At least Reagan took the blame for the Lebanon Marine Barracks.
Lockerbie? Funny how you don't hear much from Kadafi now days.

What did Clinton do about the Cole? The embassy bombings? What did he do when
the Sudan said they had Ben Laden and we could have him?

You libs worry about the crooks in *this* WH, but say nothing about the biggest
crook ever, Clinton and his wife. Enron, btw, Greg, happened on Clinton's
watch. Clinton is the one who invited Enron's execs to dine/sleep in the WH,
not Bush.

Nothing I can say will change your liberal bent, and nothing you can say will
convince me (at least at this time) that Bush is doing a bad job.

The question is, are we safe now with that smirking chimp of a
chief executive, Commander AWOL, doing his damnedest to be the
best recruiter in the history of Al Qaeda, or would we be better
off if we had an adult in charge for a change ?

An adult who
would build international consensus instead of resented hegemony,
an adult who would work within the constraints of international
laws and not flout them, an adult who would tell the American
people the truth instead of outrageous lies.

Like I said....Bush hater.

sure, those were stupid moves, but you really think you are safer right now, my

Damn straight. We finally have someone that is doing something about these
terrorists. It should have happened a long time ago. I guess we (U.S.) need
things like Pearl Harbor and 9/11 to get us started.

You make fun of the Bush economy (another post), but it seems to be doing very
well. If you invested in high techs a year ago, you could have has as much as
a 45% return. Market is up, inflation down, interest rates are still low, and
unemployment is improving. We are winning the war on terrorism (but it is far
from over). So, what's your beef? Well, *besides* hating Bush. d;o)

So THAT'S what the world looks like when you have your head in the sand. ;-)

When George Bush VI is pulled, haggard and disheveled, from a rat hole
within sight of the White House by coalition troops of the Chinese and
Indian Armed Forces your great-great grandchildren are gonna be wishin'
that our generation had paid a lot more attention to the niceties of
international law.

What goes around comes around, we should try to think seven generations
down the road before we go off killing tens of thousands of innocents.

Lou, I've played nice with you. I asked you if you were a nitwit,
rather than just stating the obvious, I put forth the flimsy
excuse that you were merely playing the fool instead of actually
being one, a concession I don't offer to many with your ... uh ...
how shall I say it ... shortcomings. Given that I've been SUCH a
sweetheart, having pulled my punches and all, why do you now
wish to yank my chain ?

Quit while you're ahead.
