I guess I don't have to ask whether or not we're gonna have a raffle
or who the Rafflmeister is. :-)

Stan - are you guys getting in at a decent time on Friday? I suspect
the drake hatch will be on by then so you'll want to arrive early
enough to stake out a decent streamside location late afternoon
sometime. If it is just beginning, you'll want to be downstream
somewhere, maybe Weikert, or Cherry Run. It will be a bit different
than you are used to, it will be a Carnivale atmosphere, including
all of the people. Keep an eye on the reports through, you should
be able to get stream reports that will confirm if the hatch is on.

Mike: we usually get there at about 2 (even though we plan on being there
at
noon). If we skip the on-the-road breakfast in Fishkill we can make
better
time. If it means getting to Weikert in time to stake out a spot, well,
I'll pack some go food and save the stop. As the day approaches, lets
make
sure to set up a meeting place.

Actually, I was not a "spook" proper. I was a draftee from the “Real
Navy” who was cast down into the dungeons of "The Agency" (everybody in
the know knows that “The Agency” is not located in Langley, VA) to bang
code (IMP anyone?) for the real spooks. I finally completed my penance
and was allowed to move out to the Fanex from which I eventually entered
the light of civilian life twenty-one years ago.

P.S. Here’s an old DP/DS slogan: “Do it in binary! 0110 1001”

Frank, we all know that Maryland is not really a part of Suthurn Murica.
There are too many liberals and Catholics! ;-)

But we have a slot-machine loving Republican gubner in a blue state. I'm

That's because of those darn purple counties. They cannot make up their
minds to be liberal or conservative! :-)
