Actually, I mostly agree. But this is one point I _am_ a conservative
on. While you're right, a lot of pork does some level of "good" and at
the very least just cycles money through the economy, I'm of the
belief that if it had never cycled through the government
_in_the_first_place_, it would actually benefit both the economy and
people more. YMMV.

Back in the Vietnam War years (called the American War by the

the size of government spending as a percentage of total wealth,
the size of government is no larger now than it ever was. The R's
need
a reality check. They're living in a fantasy world.

.....the size of government has grown, but so has the size of the
economy.
The relative comparisons remain about what they always were. So take
a deep breath, all you R's out there, and try not be such propaganda
puppets.

I have fish with many of these folks, and have observed their postings
long before you came aboard, and among them there is not a moron,
idiot, imbecile, dolt, or whatever-insulting-name-you-may-use. No
morons. No imbeciles. No idiots. No dolts. Just a bunch of
flyfishing folks that have different opinions about many subjects.
Some are easy to get along with, some are not. You, otoh, are one of
the most intollerant people I have ever known, quick to anger and
insult.

I would suggest you see a counselor about this anger that has obsessed
you.
