Roger wonders:
I had so much fun this year that I'm contemplating joining you guys again next year. I have a lot to consider though. First, where would I land and who could possibly drive me from the airport? Ideas anyone? How about Philadelphia International, where one of several of us could get you. We have ROFF types near Logan(Boston) and the Washington, DC airports, as well. Tom |

He will have the hang of things in no time, I think. BTW, scoped out Woodward a few years back and rejected it for Hemlock Acres. Have you been there this season? Tom |

Salt Lake City is probably the closest international airport to there. -- Charlie... |

tom - at the very end of the road that runs by 3-streamer stans and the
tunnel, there is a dirt/gravel road from the parking lot into some private property. there's actually some type of rental outfit back there, with a fine looking big log cabin on penns. lou teletski told me about it, so i rode back and took a look at it. have you or the other pa. regulars stayed there? can you check it out on one of your trips...just for future reference. i know there are a lot of club-owned properties over at poe paddy, but the rental places on the stream seem limited to the "carolina" cabin. hemlock is fine for what it is, but staying on the stream has its advantages; and, i'd like to find a penns creek place where rachel and i could stay sometime - she's even less of a camper than i. jeff Tom Littleton wrote: |
