Question about loop leaders?

No, indeed, I'm not. But then I'm not indebted to you, which is just
about the worst thing that can happen to someone, because you're a
fat, incredibly stupid, egotistical, bloodsucking piece of ****, with
bad feet and too much money. Like when you lured Warren to Penns,
assuring him that it would all be "covered," and then you hit him up
for 200 bucks for the room, knowing that he was flat broke, and
despite the fact that you kept him awake every night with your
brobdingnagian fat-man snoring. Yes, I've heard all about that. Asshole.

Now that was in rather poor taste. I imagine that Warren confided in
you, expecting that you wouldn't use his unpleasant experience to your
own benefit--YMMV?

I once received an email from a very occasional ROFF poster about Dave.
He had gone on a fishing trip with Dave, who acted like an insufferable
jerk, bragging about his wealth while stiffing the guy on bills. It was
so bad that the guy wondered whether he was missing something. He just
couldn't believe it.

I've fished with a lot of people, many of them from ROFF. Dave is the
only person I've ever fished with whom I consider REPULSIVE. I recall at
the San Juan everyone else was catching "beat up" fish, while he caught
nothing but bright, shiny "footballs." He loves to talk about how many
fish he catches, while others are skunked. I remember him blowing up at
Indian Joe at Henry's Fork, for no apparent reason, embarrassing everyone.

Here's a bit of advice for people on ROFF who might not know Dave very
well -- never accept a "favor" from him. You will have to eat ****
forever, and like it.

Cut "to the chase" for my email address.

Regardless, you shouldn't have invoked Warren's name and experience with Dave to
bolster your ****in' match with Dave.

Question about loop leaders?

The deal with Warren was that I would pay his way to the clave. I did. It
cost me more than $400. Did you contribute to his trip? I doubt it. And, I
certainly didn't lure him. It wasn't my idea. I only financed it. Lots of
folks wanted to meet Warren and I provided them that treat, bad feet and all.

Yep, I snore. So does Peter Charles, wayno, Pamlico Jim, you name 'em.

The San Juan clave: you enjoyed fishing the Kiddie Hole for beat up old trout
that didn't fight when they were hooked. They had been caught so many times
they were little more than pets. But, there you were, in the middle of them,
doing the San Juan Shuffle. Pathetic.

As far as stiffing people with bills: I very much doubt that. If you will
remember I picked up the bill at dinner one night at Henry's Fork. I believe
you and Willi gave me $35, and I willingly paid for five people who had
befriended me with their drift boats. At the San Juan, I picked up the bill on
the pizzas. At one of Penns I gave $50 for beer on lobster night at the
Millheim. This year I went out of my way to befriend someone that needed a
ride from Boston to the clave. I did so without remuneration even though I was
not going to attend the clave. I did it because I had promised I would do it.

Indian Joe? Joe grabbed my shirt like he was going to hit me. I simply pushed
his hand away and told him not to touch me, *ever*. If someone grabbed your
shirt, I'd imagine you would **** your pants.

So, you apparently have this hate filled prejudice with overweight people.
There are quite a few of them on roff. And, I'm betting they all snore.

Damn. That's a distinction I thought I had earned for
myself only to see it awarded to Louie. I'm crushed.

No, you weren't repulsive, like you are on ROFF. You were merely nothing
special.
