It was a stroke of genius to declare that fat, sweaty, gasbag Limbaugh the leader of the GOP. When 26% of the people hang on your every word and 52% of the people think you're a menace you can make a nice living as a radio entertainer but you ain't winning no national elections. And there is the GOP dilemma, they can't win without their 26% Limbaugh base and, as was proved in the 2008 electoral landslide, they can't win with them. Check and mate. Just post blogged comments from Britain's notoriously racist Telegraph favored by Tory prat boys with "no comment." I am sure that this stuff also goes down well at Grover Norquist's cocktail parties for America haters with well earned anal warts, perhaps read over some select Barbara Streisand tunes. Obama played Limbaugh like a three dollar fiddle. -- Ken Fortenberry Obama should forget about Limbaugh and get with cutting excess pork and fixing the problems we have here. Obama won because he out campaigned Hillary. There was no way a Republican was going to win after the last 4 years of Bush. Seeing that the popular vote for Obama was not that much greater than McCain's, you need to worry about Dem's being head of the Executive branch after the next Presidential election. You need to worry about having a majority in Congress in less than 2 years. People are getting ****ed about the handling of the economic crisis. Things like $1000 credit a year on your restructured loan if you make your payments has really POed most people that did not lie to buy a home or make their payments on time. The Earmarks in both the porkulus bill and the regular spending bill, have not enamored Congress or the President to the people. The fact his disapproval rating is increasing weekly is a bad sign. |
