As far as memorials: There should be one of them in DC, along with the

Yep. I want a big one in DC, on or near the Mall, and one in the
Capitol, where Congressmen on Appropriations have to pass it everyday,
and maybe a plaque or two in the cafeterias at State, as a remembrance
of how much we really "owe" our allies, and maybe a big plaque in the
Johnson Library down in Texas. And one or 2 each at the DNC and RNC
offices.

Dave, there were three linguist aboard the Liberty that were kia. Two
Marines and one NSA civilian. The two Marines were Russian linguists,
while the civilian was an Arabic specialist. There were other CT I
branchers aboard, but they survived.

Thought you might like to know.

Hopefully the Navy or the US Gov. will erect a memorial for those
killed and wounded.

Thanx. I agree per the memorial. IMHO there were some other things
also going on and still unaccounted for. Ex: That was alot of work for
Mr Blue. Ex: What did the Israelis have to trade in turn for the
recon/damage assessment flites/pix?

Reminds me of a little story...
