Jail never entered into the equation in my case. What was it you got
busted for? Did it have anything to do with small animals?

Then you fail to recall what the selective service laws were. Failure to
register, failure to report, and other such offenses were punishable by jail
time. Just for the record, my step-father decided that I was about to leave
for Canada. So my induction ceremony consisted of me, a Major, two federal
marshals, and a large flag in the room. I was offered the choice of
accepting induction or being dragged across the street to the St, Louis City
Jail. I acknowledged induction and declined the loyalty oath.

Small animals are, I understand, your game. I''ve been trusted and licensed
to work with human anatomy and human materials for a long time.

I am well aware of the Coast Guard's long and proud history in and out of
combat. I had no need for your snide little history tirade. I indicated
that the USCG is, normally, non-combatant.
