Not sure if anyone remembers Creature Features hosted by Bob Wilkins.
The program aired around midnight back in the late 70's, and featured 3rd to
4th rate horror films. Bob would be dressed in wrinkled black suits, white
socks, puffing away on his 6 1/2" stogies as he told a little about what was
going to be featured. Most of the movies were poorly rated and Bob knew it,
but that's what made the show interesting.
One night he comes on the show and says; "The lousier the movie, the bigger
the cigar" he then leans back in his Laziboy, takes out this foot and a half
stogie and lights it up...Classic Bob.

Great movie picks:
The Blob
Bride of Frankenstein
Attack of the Giant Killer Tomatoes

That's tough. Let's start with:

"Jean de Florette"/"Manon of the Spring" - Ok, that's two movies but
they go together.

"Once Upon a Time in the West" - Best western ever made.

"Amadeus"

Then ya might want to add "Rear Window" 'cause Grace Kelly is so easy on
the eyes.

For something a little different try "Bagdad Cafe." (German film filmed
in California.)

Russell

Who can't believe no one mentioned "the movie."

The new cabin on penns creek is all cleaned out! By spring I should
have the place looking pretty damn good. This weekend I'm putting down
a new carpet in the livingroom and setting up a fly dressing table to
seat 4. I hope there's no slave labor law in Weikert, no one stays for
free! Now all I need are some DVD's to stock pile for when Tom
Littleton comes to the valley and brings a hurricane with him. So what
are your 3 greatest movies all time: I've got - Deliverance, The Deer
Hunter, Casablanca, On the Waterfront, Cool hand Luke, Pulp Fiction,
Jaws-The first one only.

What's really scary is that I agree with several of the ROFFian
critics. :-)

Desert island flicks (i.e., flicks I would consider owning) for me
would include:

Deliverance
Monty Python's Holy Grail
2001 -- A Space Odyssey
A Clockwork Orange
Apocalypse Now
Aguirre, Der Zorn Des Gotte or however it's spelled.

And of course, Holly Does Hollywood.
