Sure it is. I want to feel comfortable in this forum. I want to
counter the chest thumping and flag waving with common sense
whether I score any obvious points or not. Best case scenario,
someone thinks, "yeah, that makes sense", worst case, some
dimbulb jingo has a hissy fit. You do the math.

...
When you have something NEW and ORIGINAL to say, I'll read it with great
interest. Until then, shut the **** up and try to learn something, knothead.

There's little under the sun that's truly NEW and ORIGINAL. It's all
been said before. You just weren't paying attention, and you're not
at all interested in hearing it again, much to your, and our nation's,
detriment. That's why I always extol the virtue of a good liberal arts
education, not that dumb**** rednecks like you pay any attention.

You're missing the point. Sometimes "the right thing" exists or can be
sought independently of what you and your adversary are striving over.

Santa works FAST! Never too late to add to the list. However, I think I'd
do a bit more research before investing in ANYTHING talked about by someone
who has watched "250000" softball games. Assuming 1 hour per game.....about
what is allowed in city leagues here in SE Curdistan.....and keeping in mind
that the average work year here in the U.S. is generally (if somewhat
liberally) calculated at approximately 2000 hours, it would appear that Mr.
Saylor has been watching softball full time for exactly 125 years.....a tad
more than the 27 he claims. :)

Wolfgang
still, one has to wonder what it would sound like making contact with some
of the slow pitches offered up here.

That's why they hand out Oscars to makeup artists......and why lots of
people lobby for term limits.....and why most people prefer "National
Geographic" to a walk in the park.....and why most people make love in the
dark.

Wolfgang
and that's the beauty of usenet.

What is it about political threads that brings out the worst in good folks?
Every time one appears, I tell myself, "No, don't get involved." But, I am so
tired of the Bush haters that I jump right into the muck.

Ken, I'm sorry for the "George" statement. It was meant to hurt, and that is
no way to discuss differences. Perhaps when next we meet we can talk about our
differences in a civil way.

As for political threads, this is my last post to one.

Dave
ps: I've cleared your e-mail addee, so if you want to talk.....
