You must be from Mane, where shooting fish with a gun is legal

What country is "Mane" in?

Assault rifles should be in every home

Only deer hunters need, and most have, sniper rifles

An average deer hunter's rifle "was" the favorite sniper rifle , and was
issued to snipers from 1960 to 1987. It was just a standard Winchester
bolt action with scope, in 308 caliber, it was/is quite capable of
killing humans out to 800 yds.

From 1911 to 1959, the issued sniper rifle was the 1911 A3 bolt action,
in 30/06, then the government got smart, because hunting rifles were
better for the job

I only missed it by a few miles :-)

I knew it was some stupid east coast Yankee state that allowed such
stupidity

How about the .50 Cal Browning and the M-14 that Marine Gunny Carlos
Hathcock used?

Although White Feather did use the 50 BMG a few times, his issued sniper
rifle was a Winchester standard bolt action hunting rifle in 308, his
partner carried the M14 for close in (under 600 yds) protection of the team.

His WInchester is in the Marine Museum
