It seems that Stan's thyroid got overly excited about the impending
holidays and ran amok, causing his big heart to pitter-pat at a ridiculously high rate. This landed him in the hospital, where he's been treated (or mistreated) since last Wednesday. I just spoke to him on the phone, and he's hopeful he'll be back home by the end of the week. So it's time for that fine roffian tradition of ultra-camaraderie and sending of good thoughts, vibrations, prayers, and whatever else floats your boat. I, for one, am ****ed that I bought a nice bottle of ruby port to create the pre-Christmas toast, and my port-drinking buddy is unable to share. :( That's gratitude for ya. Oh well, there's always the pre-New Years toast. Seriously, Stan, get well soon. -- TL, Tim --------------------------- http://css.sbcma.com/timj/ |

snip Seriously, Stan, get well soon. Yeah, what Timmaaay said. Can we all chip in and send him something cheerfully illegal and almost harmless ? (I'm thinking really nice whores and Cuban cigars. ;-) -- Ken Fortenberry |
