Penns Clave 2011 - The Preview

Okay, this may be a totally different Clave than in passed years as
Clave Central may not open this year. With that, there is some
serious doubt that the Handyman and the Clavemeister will even make
appearances. This is due to the vagaries of life, I wish them both
the best. Additionally, the Finn has a new job as the IT advisor to
Warren Buffet, so he may stay away (Warren gets really clingy).
There are a few names that have said they would come up. Joel and
Dave PA have rented a cabin at Hemlock Acres. Gene has his trailer so
will probably be there. I've also heard that we may be blessed with a
couple of Tims.
I may be in a tent, my car, or just a general vagrant. Work has me
actually working through 6 p.m. on Friday the 20th. That being said,
I'll have my car packed so I can actually leave from work, drive until
O-dark-thirty, get a room somewhere and then arrive Saturday.
Anyone else joining us?

I think I have the "what's next" pretty much covered. In my parlance,
we call that "Thursday."

Correction.....Tom will be there, has 10 days in a row off, but MAY be
called home only if Grandchild #2 arrives very early. Handyman is a
question mark due to family reasons this year, but the Finn promised me
a couple nights ago that he may be a presence on both weekends.

Clave On, Brothers!
Tom

If you don't open up Clave Central, I can loan you my pup tent. You
will, however, be responsible for your own garbage bag to put you feet
in as they stick out the door as the tent is probably a bit too short
for your frame.

Dave, we're talking about Penns, so the proper nomenclature is
"Dumbo." Get with the program.

Don't tease the moron.

Meanwhile, chestnuts were misplaced. Have recently been repatriated.
Don't recall now whether I have your snail mail address. Please
resend. Seeds will be sent out within the next week.....both American
and Chinese.

giles
anyone else who would like seeds, ditto.

I haven't paid too much attention to the Chestnut Tree discussion. What
kind of climate do these trees need?
