TR,or how I narrowly avoided being whipped with a kpos

Well, last Friday I delivered an RV not too far from Snakes house so I
decided to go by and retrieve my toothbrush and talk her into a little
fishing (now that takes hardly any persuasion at all) Sat we drove back
into the mountains (i stayed lost the whole time) and fished a nice
looking spot where we could pull off the road. No luck there but I missed
a splashy strike while gazing at the scenery. It turned out to be just
more casting practice for both of us. Then came a pretty good t'storm
with heavy rain, and before long the river was the color I like my coffee
to be. That ended our fishing for the day.
Sunday AM we fished Jennifer's "secret" spot where (i believe) she caught
her first trout. We separated and she admonished me to be sure and holler
if I caught a fish. Shortly afterwards while fishing a deep run against
the far bank I caught a pretty little brookie, hollered as instructed and
she came splashing down to me to see the fish. She asked what did I catch
it on, and where...so I told her a Royal Wulff and said "see that deep
run over there" and proceeded to throw another cast in the same spot...lo
and behold another strike and brought to hand an even bigger and prettier
brookie. (see the picture on abpf) After unleashing a string of invective
aimed in my general direction, I was given specific orders not to catch
another fish until she did or suffer a kpos whipping. (didn't know she
was into S&M) ;-)
As it turned out, that was the only two fish caught that morning in this
section of "her" crick. We had to leave anyway to get ready for another
bluegrass jam down in Blowing Rock. Did I do good Snake? You may add to
this to defend yourself if you like. ;-)

why, thank you-
i would just like to say that, in spite of my exhuberantly expelled
superlatives, (he tells the truth), it is quite possible for one to be happy
for another's success, while simultaneously being envious of it .

let me also point out the lack of grace inherent in being accepted into
one's town, welcomed into said person's home, fed, and invited to fish a
favorite stream, (however unsuccessfully as of late), then stealing the
trout that said hostess has been stalking for a month!

let it be hereby known that mr. church is no longer welcome to fish with
*me* in boone- EVER AGAIN!
