What is it with Boston managers and post-season pitching decisions?

Clearly, Pedro is an amateur hypnotist. That's GOTTA be the answer!

On behalf of the thoroughly exhausted Red Sox Nation, thank you.

But....the way the ALCS went - and the NLCS has been going - I cannot fathom
why anyone would give the Series a miss. It's bound to be a dandy - and a hell
of a lot more interesting than watching a bunch of good ol' boys going fast
and turning left for four or five hours ;-)

Geez, wayno, calling a bunch of millionaires from Santo Domingo "beantown boys"
seems awfully insensitive...

OTOH, you could have meant the Yankees, I suppose...

Damn, what a FINE series!! I missed the full game for games 1-6, as they
come on at 2AM here, but I managed to stay up until 5AM and watch all of
Game 7 last night. Too cool. Strange, though: even when it was 2 out, bottom
of the ninth, with the Sox leading 10-3, I was still afraid for some sort of
comeback. Honestly; when did folks first finally accept that the fat lady
had sung? If it had been 8-3 Yankees in the 5th, I'd have gone to bed and
figured that the Yanks had it sewed up!

I never got Pedro. His numbers are wonderful and all that, but he just
seems like a liability. Thankfully his time at the mound and damage done
was limited last night.
