Umm, the spirit of your post is well-recieved, but I gotta question your use
of the word 'friendship', there, NewHSTeacher. Listening and enjoying the
talk, commonly called 'lurking', is hardly synonymous with friendship.
Usually there is some evidence that the second party knows of the existence
of the first party, often demonstrated by actually communicating with them.
Then there is all that shared experience stuff.

But you're welcome anyway. I think.

If you're a high school teacher, shouldn't you have signed that I
rather than ME ?

What a truckload, Vern.

We all read rofft here and saw your post there. And for the record, there is
no "NEA Journal for Teachers", you misspelled 'principal', (something no
teacher would EVER do, and would spot in a paper in a heartbeat, as I did in
your lame post), and it was written by 'Jean Mizer', not 'Gene Mizner'.

The giveaway is that its a Mormon chuch video from the 70s. Get a life.

I suspect it's gonna seem more like Medgar Evers...and not just for "Mel"...

NewHSTeacher February 24th, 2005 06:27 AM

Let me first say, you have no idea what you are talking about. There was a
NEW Journal for Teachers in 1965. I copied the journal. I did not type it.
The spelling is not my spelling. The story was turned into a movie in the
late 60s. You might have a problem with the article, but that is not my
problem.

I should have typed NEA not NEW. That was my error.

So, tell us where you copied the journal from.

1965, or 1964, Vern? Get your story straight; you're not fooling anyone.

--riverman

NewHSTeacher February 24th, 2005 07:14 PM

There was an NEA both years. It did not start or end in 1964 or 1965.

An old copy of NEA was scanned electronically by a friend of mine and sent
to me in an e-mail attachment as a Word document. I did not type it. The
spelling was not mine.

Oh, my mistake. You stated before that 'you copied it', now you state that
your friend scanned it and emailed it to you. Its so hard to keep these
shifting stories straight. Now, imagine my suprise that the National
Education Association would misspell the word 'principal'.

So, tell us where and what you teach. And when did your name change from
Vern to Mel?

Wolfgang
who, lacking principle, really has no interest anyway.
