Yes, but it's SPRING snow (I'm sure that helps...g). Anyway think of
endless number of time-killers we have and Hornsby didn't:

big teeth chewing on the tail rotor. :(

987 after numerous false starts. It seemed as though my tail rotor was on
fire the whole time?

IJ recommends Metamucil for that.

Actually, one of the guyz found a medicine stone on one of the streams, and
it seems to be workin' quite well.

Aye, Laddie. I had a bit of tangle with the beast myself just the other
night. I would venture that I won, as I am still here but at what cost? I
left the house today for the first time since Wednesday and returned home
pronto. 'Still a bit 'green' around the gills.

I did notice though some strange growth around my house. Little green things
and it appears they are coming right up out of the ground - no doubt from
the depths of hell itself.

And the tundra is changing...no doubt soon it will be man and machine in
battle with the alien fauna.

There's a couple of guys over at rec.backcountry who can sort it all out for
you........you should come visit.......it's more fun than the
xylophone......sweartgod! :)

Wolfgang
um......what's the temperature like down there about mid april?

asadi March 22nd, 2005 02:41 AM

Weather dot com reports average highs of 63 and lows of 42 for the month of
April, based on yearly figures.

This is during prime time for northward excursions in search of the giant
morel. However, due to technicalities, legalities and other formal matters
which I am not at liberty to discuss at the moment, all of this years major
treks are in a state of limbo as far as the spring is concerned. However,
the future's so bright I have to wear shades.

One or two day jaunts are all systems go for the nonce.

Smallmouth fishing would be fair to middling, with action on the somewhat
slow side due to water temps. Expectations of largish fish moving in for
spawn are realistic. Expeditions could be mounted southward to other
streams, quiet floats in the big holes locally with the possibility of
excellent results in the southwestern portion of the state at some reclaimed
strip mines...hundreds of ponds.

All things important are not remote from where Buddha sits.

My computer must be slow or something, 'cause I hit a couple
of 1100's off the bat, then a few 600-800's before topping 1000
again. Cute but Wolfie's got alot more patience than I do (40
tries??)

At an average of something like 3 to 5 seconds a pop, it doesn't take all
that much patience. :(

Wolfgang
who does better (if only marginally) with the car and pedestrian crosswalks.
