Fish clips?
I've gone brain dead for the moment. Fishing partner this past weekend used
a clip setup to hook up his fish and give himself a handle to remove them from the livewell. Somebody help me remember what they're called or maybe the web site. Thanks. -- Da Chief, All outgoing mailed scanned by Symantec Anti-virus |

He had plastic "clothes pin" type clips that gripped the fish's lip and not the safety pin style in the BPS catalog. -- Da Chief, All outgoing mailed scanned by Symantec Anti-virus |

I have a similar set of clips with sealed colored surgical tubing instead of
ropes. They work ok, but they come off. I have found if I very carefulyl take the time to put the clip around the jaw bone (doesn't realyl reach for larger fish) they stay on better, but I still have one come off once in a while. I really liked the idea, but if they come off it can waste valuable fishing time when trying to cull a small fish for a larger one. -- ** Public Fishing and Boating Forums ** www.YumaBassMan.com "Henry Hefner" wrote in message oups.com... It looks like Cabela's has them for $24.99, if that helps. http://tinyurl.com/3r2y6 |
What I did instead to minimize damage with my regular float balls was
sharpen the point on a grinder to a needle tip. They go in easier and leave almost no extra damage later from tearing. Just a very tiny puncture hole in the soft tissue behind the jaw bone. -- ** Public Fishing and Boating Forums ** www.YumaBassMan.com "Bob La Londe" wrote in message ...
